Stitch-Face Stacey COLOURED
For some reason when I exported it as an image in Flash it moved her slightly to the left of the stage, I have NO idea why.

Wanderlust - Björk
This video combines live-action, puppets AND animation! What form of animation I just can't figure out, yet (the water, specifically).
Plus it's Björk, which is always a good thing.

Colors of the Wind
Does it need any further explanation?
My favourite Disney song EVER! And I love the hand-painted scene where Pocahontas is made of wind

More Stitch-Face Stacey!
These are my two first key poses for our class exercise.
I have one or two more to create, but I kind of want them to be a surprise!
And this is a quick *RUFF* storyboard I drew up;

Winnie The Pooh
My parents raised me on Winnie the Pooh, it's always had a special place, so when I saw THIS and realised Disney were sticking to the traditional side of things to make it, I was completely ecstatic;
It had me in tears!
I am so ultra excited for this movie, it looks absolutely gorgeous.
In this day and age where everything is animated in 3D I wouldn't have been surprised had Disney decided to make a 3D Winnie the Pooh movie, but they've stayed true to their roots and I'm so so happy they have. Winnie shouldn't be animated any other way!

THE LIBRARY
Today we learned how to navigate the SBIT labyrinth, more commonly known as 'the library'.
We embarked a scavenger hunt for Animation information, or 'Animinfo'.
THIS is a labyrinth;
And THIS is a library;
See? The same. Also both contain David Bowie in some way, shape or form.
And THESE are my discoveries;
1. Shaun Tan (winner of the 2011 'Best Short Animated Film' Oscar) has two art books in the library, 'The Bird King' and 'The Arrival'. There are also numerous articles on him in 'WebFeat'.
2. The library has numerous copies of 'Animation Magazine', found on level 2, along with other magazines relating to animation, animation/digital art software and visual art.
3. If we need help or have questions regarding Copyright in Australia, a librarian can help - the librarian working the Help Desk on level 4, in particular.
4 & 5. Frank Thomas' 'The Illusion of Life' is available for loan on level 3 of the library, as well as Richard Williams' 'The Animator's Survival Kit', which is also available on DVD.
6. A DVD entitled 'Paris: Chambre de Commerce, d'industrie rie de Paris' from Frank's trip toParis in 2009 is available for loan in the library, an animation resource not available to any other animation students in Australia.
7. There are a number of Miyazaki films available for loan, they are; Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa, Kiki's Delivery Service and Porco Rosso.
8. I DID find the library oritentation helpful, I'll definitely be making use of it in the near future (especially for DVD's) and Animation Magazine.
